A Rio and Gabrielle Halloween

Rio, Gabrielle, Nathan and Van all walked down the streets of twinleaf town, all of them in costume. Rio went as a Green Lantern. He and Gabrielle made the costume together and made it authentic to the comics. Gabrielle went as Chell from Portal. She bought an orange jumpsuit and made with Rio, a Portal Gun prop. Nathan went as a zombie. He had some of his fur covered in makeup to give him an undead look. His chest fur was covered in makeup to look like an exposed ribcage, his fur was a little paler, and had bloodstains. Van went as the Tenth Doctor from Doctor Who. He wore a brown suit with blue pinstripes and cream colored converse. He had both the Doctor's glasses, and sonic screwdriver.

The four of them were on their way toward "Twinleaf High School." They had received an invitation to a costume party that would be taking place there. Also at this party after midnight, would be a showing of Rocky Horror Picture Show with a live cast and audience. Nathan had been cast to play as Riff-Raff, a handyman. Some of Gabrielle and Van's other friends have been cast as characters as well. "Your costume looks really cool Gabrielle." admired Rio. "I love Portal!"

"Yeah it's brilliant!" agreed Van, speaking in the Doctor's British accent.

"Thank you boys." she said sweetly. "You do that accent very well Van. You sound just like David Tennant."

"Well…" said Van acting out the Doctor.

"I really love Rio and Nathan's costumes!" exclaimed Gabrielle.

"In brightest day, in blackest night, no evil shall escape my sight! Let those who worship evil's might, beware my power! Green Lantern's light!!" roared Rio quoting the Lantern Corp. oath.
  
Nathan rolled his eyes. "Nerd…" He then looked over to Gabrielle."Thank you Gabrielle but you better run, you're looking quite tasty and I'm getting hungry!" joked Nathan.

Everyone laughed at his remark. "We're almost there. So Nathan, are you excited to play as Riff-Raff?"

Nathan nodded his head. "Indeed I am. I've been rehearsing for days on end. It's not an easy roll."

"I'm sure." concurred Gabrielle. "So, who all is playing who?" she asked him curiously.
"Let's see here…Evan's playing as Brad. Lucy's playing as Janet. Racheal's playing as Columbia. I'm playing as Riff. Audrey's playing as Magenta. Eric is playing as Rocky. David's playing as Eddy. Miguel is playing as Dr. Scot and Mr. Harris is playing as Criminologist."

"Cool, but who's playing as Frank?" inquired Gabrielle. Rio looked away, as he felt his heart quadruple in beats.

"We're not allowed to say." answered Nathan. "Since he's the most iconic, we're keeping the actor's identity a secret." Rio let out a silent sigh of relief.

"Oh…well that makes sense." stated Gabrielle. A few minutes later, they were at the front doors of the high school. "Well we're here." she said excitably. Rio pulled the door open and held it open for Gabrielle, Nathan, and Van. Gabrielle looked back at him. "Thank you Green Lantern. You saved me from the evil door." she said teasingly.

"You're welcome Chell. Now you can get back to testing. Who knows you might get to see a deer." replied Rio. Gabrielle let out a soft giggle. The four of them entered the school and were amazed by what they saw. The foyer of the high school alone had well over 120 people in it. They saw costumes of all kinds. There was, a man dressed as Joker, another as Freddy Kruger hanging out with Jason Voorhees. There was a girl dressed as Midna, another as Wonder Woman. There was a Lopunny dressed as Amy Rose. "Wow, look at all this!!" yelled Rio in amazement. "This is amazing!"

"I sure hope you appreciate it Rio!" called out a voice. The four of them looked over and saw Lucy and Even. Lucy was a year older than Gabrielle. She had blonde hair, and blue eyes. She was wearing a more mature angel costume that had a corset and wings. Evan wore a very well custom made Dead Space costume that looked exactly like it would from the game.
  
"Lucy! Hey!" called out Gabrielle. The two gave each other a hug. "You look great girl!" she exclaimed.

"Thanks. So do you Gabrielle." she complimented.

A mischievous grin spread across Gabrielle's face. "So you went as a sexy angel to try and fluster Evan eh?"

"Haha yep! My evil plan is working! But I'm not the only angel here!" she replied. "Look down there and see what Rachael went as!" she said pointing down the foyer.

Gabrielle looked to where Lucy was pointing to. Rachael was dressed as an angel except she had the appearance to be made of stone and weeping. "Oh my God!! No way!!" yelled Gabrielle in both shock and excitement. "She went as a Weeping Angel!! That's so cool!! I love them they're so creepy and awesome!! We mustn't blink!! "

"I know and it looks damn good!" agreed Lucy.

During Gabrielle and Lucy's chat, Evan went over to Rio, Nathan and Van. "What's up guys?" he said before fist pounding Rio. His voice was deeper and sounded metallic in a sense.

"Nothing much for now." replied Van.

Rio's eyes scanned over Evan's costume, admiring the sheer quality of detail. "That's a very badass costume Evan." complimented Rio.

"Yeah it's brilliant!" stated Van, acting like the Doctor.

"Thanks, I made the costume myself. This thing was a bitch to make, but it so satisfying to wear. I even made the voice changer in my helmet to make my voice deeper and menacing." He said proudly. He scanned all three of them. "Let's see we have Green Lantern, a zombie and the Tenth Doctor. All three of which are badass in their own right."

"Well I have something you don't Isaac Clarke!" exclaimed Van.

"And what would that be dear Doctor?" asked Evan sarcastically.

Van reached into his jacket and pulled out an object shaped like a screwdriver. "I have a sonic screwdriver!" he said while pointing it at Evan's helmet. He pressed the button on the screwdriver as the tip of it glowed blue with its signature buzzing noise.

Evan couldn't help but laugh as he slapped his helmet with his palm. "Oh my god…." He said in a chuckle.

"Indeed." He said in amusement. "Now if you'll excuse me, I feel like going to harass Rachael over there." he said pointing to young woman in the weeping angel costume.
"Go right on ahead Doctor." said Nathan waving him along.

Van walked away leaving just Rio, Nathan, and Evan in the group. Evan looked back at Rio and Nathan and asked, "So, are the two of you ready for your roles?"

A sly smile spread across Nathan's face. "I know I am!"

"What about you Rio? Does Gabrielle know you're playing as Frank?" inquired Evan.

Rio shook his head."No she doesn't. I can't wait to see her face."

"Good. Rehearsal is in three hours." stated Evan.

"Hey Evan where's Audrey?" asked Nathan.

"She's over there in the Harley Quinn costume." he answered pointing in her general direction.

"Thanks!" he said as he walked away, leaving Rio and Evan behind.

"There he goes." said Rio rolling his eyes. He looked back at Evan. "Well I'm going back over to Gabrielle."

Evan nodded his head. "Go ahead. I think I'll join you. Lucy's being mean!! She had to come here in one of the sexiest costumes here!" he said while blushing inside his helmet.
Rio couldn't help but laugh. "Alright let's go."

Nathan made his way over to Audrey, who was talking to one of her friends. She jumped a little as she felt two furry arms wrap around her waist. "Hello cutie." greeted Nathan.

A warm smile spread across her face. She knew who it was. She placed her hands on top of his paws. "Hello handsome."

She turned herself around in Nathan's arms so she could face him. A blush appeared as he scanned her Harley Quinn Jester costume. "I have to say, that costume's so cute. You look great!"

"Thank you but don't compliment me too much otherwise Mr. J is going to get pissed." she joked. "And I have to say you look quite scary Mr. Zombie. My boyfriend's been infected!! No!! Please don't bite me!! I don't wanna be a cute jester zombie!!" she cracked. Nathan could help but laugh. "You know this raises a curious question. Seeing as to how you're now a zombie and if I were to kiss you, would that be considered necrophilia?"

Nathan burst out into laughter. "I don't know would it?" he said suggestively.

Audrey chuckled to herself and quickly pecked him on the cheek. She then pulled herself away. "So are you ready for tonight's show?" she asked him.

"Yeah, I'm really excited for it. I'm also excited to see Rio play as Frank. What about you? "

"Indeed I am! You're lucky, he's lucky, I'm lucky!! We're all lucky!!" yelled Britney quoting Magenta.

"It's astounding! Time is fleeting! Madness, takes it toll." said Nathan quoting Riff-Raff.

"Rehearsal's in three hours. You'll need to wash off that makeup before then" Audrey stated.

"I know but in the meantime, I'd much rather spend time with you Ms. Quinn."  he said slyly.

Audrey giggled, gripping his arm. "Alright my furry boyfriend, you can spend time with me. You know I have no problem with that." She then felt her stomach growl. "Heh heh! I guess I'm hungry."

"I am too. Let's get some food. Who knows they be serving Eddy." He joked wrapping an arm around her.

Audrey let out a soft chuckle wrapping her arms around him. The both of them walked off to the school's cafeteria.

--4 hours later--

"Alright guys that's a wrap! You guys did great!" called out a voice sitting among the theater seats. The theater was an average size as theaters go. At the back was a screen where the projector would show the film. There were 14 rows of seats with 16 per row for a total of 224 seats. In front of all the seats was a fairly sized stage. On either side of the stage were two curtains where the actors would use for entering and exiting the scenes. "We're going to start seating in 15 minutes. So be ready." The theater filled with multiple conversations until most of the entire cast left.

Rio stood center stage wiping the sweat off his forehead. "Man, I've battled so many powerful Pokémon and yet this is just as hard." he stated.

"Well…you did volunteer for the toughest role in the film." retorted Nathan. "But it'll be so satisfying to see Gabrielle's face!" he said bursting into laughter.

"Gabrielle doesn't know!?" exclaimed Audrey. A wide smile spread across her face. "Oh, that's brilliant! Her boyfriend's dressing in drag, playing as a mad transvestite cannibalistic alien scientist."

"It'll be great!" said Rio bursting into hysterics. "Although I feel bad for her. Cause she's going to wonder where I've gone to."

"Don't worry about it Rio. Evan told Gabrielle that you're helping with the lights." said Audrey reassuringly.

Rio sighed with relief. "Alright, that works!" exhaled Rio. "Now if you'll excuse me, I have to remain backstage until "Sweet Transvestite."

"Alright see you soon, and let's have some fun." called out Nathan.

Rio nodded. "Indeed." He said before walking off behind the curtain.

Nathan turned to face Britney. "Well now it's just us. Let's make this a good show."

Audrey nodded her head. "Indeed and if you're good…I'll scratch behind your ears."

A sly smile spread across his face. "Well then guess who's scratching my ears?" he asked mischievously while wrapping his arms around her. He then placed his muzzle to her lips kissing her.

Once they pulled away, Audrey gave a small chuckle. "Easy boy. Let's get through the show first."

Nathan nodded his head. "Yeah we should head backstage and get ready."

"Sounds like a good idea handyman." taunted Audrey.

Nathan chuckled to himself from her remark. The two of them headed backstage, getting their final preparations for the show that was soon about to start.

Whenever a character in this story is quoting a character from RHPS, I will call them by that name. For example whenever Evan is quoting Brad, I'm going to use "said Brad" instead of Evan.

Also there are four parts of the stage. The actual stage itself which is about 3 feet off the floor. The stage exits on either side of the stage. The isle which is the pathway between the theaters seats, and the pit which is stretches from end to end of the auditorium and is about 10 ft wide. The pit is where a majority of the acting takes place. So when I refer to Even acting I'll also post where he is on the whole stage.
